Sports Physicals

What is a sports physical?

A pre-participation physical examination is a yearly check-up for junior high and high school student athletes that clears them to play a sport for the following season.

What happens at a sports physical?

We identify any potential risks to your student's health by checking vital signs, vision, muscle and skeletal development, as well as gathering information on mental and physical health history, medications, immunizations, and more. All of this helps us check that your child will be able to play their sport(s) safely.
